Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Shehbaz Sharif, has decided to increase the financial assistance under the Ramzan Relief Package for 2026. The federal government has announced a cash grant of Rs. 10,000 to be provided nationwide. BISP beneficiaries are eligible for this Ramzan Relief Package and will receive the financial assistance through a Digital SIM Wallet. Registered beneficiaries of the Benazir Income Support Programme have already received SIM cards, and the department will soon activate digital wallets on these SIMs to facilitate the disbursement of funds.

BISP digital payments are about to begin across Pakistan, bringing much-needed relief to thousands of families. Many beneficiaries have already collected their SIM cards from BISP Tehsil offices. Every year, the Government of Pakistan supports deserving households through the Ramzan Relief Package. Previously, families received Rs. 5,000, but this year the government has doubled the assistance to Rs. 10,000. The financial support will be distributed safely and conveniently through BISP digital wallets, making the process easier for beneficiaries.
