The PM Laptop Scheme 2026 (also known as the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Free Laptop Scheme 2026) has been officially launched to promote digital education and support talented students across Pakistan. The Pakistan Laptop Govt Laptop Scheme will begin in mid-February 2026, with the last date to apply on 25 February 2026.
Under Phase IV (and upcoming Phase V) of the scheme, the government plans to distribute over 100,000 free laptops to eligible male and female students based on merit and eligibility criteria.
This initiative is part of the Prime Minister Youth Program (PMYP) and is being implemented in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to ensure transparent and fair distribution of laptops nationwide.

Eligibility Criteria PM Laptop Scheme 2026
To qualify for the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme 2026, applicants must:
- Have at least 50% marks in Matric / SSC (Science or Arts)
- Be currently enrolled in a public sector school, college, or university
- Have passed the last academic year with minimum 50% marks
- Be a regular student (private candidates are not eligible)
- Have valid CNIC / B-Form
- Meet university-wise merit requirements
High achievers (students securing 78%–90% and above) will be given priority in distribution.

- Laptop quotas will be allocated to universities based on student enrollment
- Priority will be given to:
